Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Currently enrolled or accepted to a post-secondary institution (college or university) for the upcoming academic year
- Must currently be in Grade 12 or entering a post-secondary institution in September 2026 - with supporting documentation
- Must be a current or previous Tutor Teach student, with a minimum of 10 sessions used between September 2025 - June 2026
Submission Requirements
📹 Video Submission
Required: A 90-120 second video testimonial answering the following prompt:
- Be authentic, creative, and speak from the heart
- Share specific examples of how Tutor Teach helped you grow academically
📋 Video Technical Requirements
- Duration: 90-120 seconds (1.5 to 2 minutes)
- Format: MP4, MOV, or AVI recommended
- Resolution: Minimum 720p (1280x720) recommended
- File Size: Maximum 500MB
- Audio: Clear audio with minimal background noise
- Lighting: Well-lit environment where your face is clearly visible
- Orientation: Landscape (horizontal) or portrait (vertical) acceptable
📄 Required Documentation
- Proof of Enrollment: Acceptance letter or current enrollment verification from your post-secondary institution (designated university, college, trade school, or polytechnic)
- FOIP/Consent Form: Signed Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) consent form allowing Tutor Teach to use your name, video, and story in promotional materials (if selected). This form will be provided as part of the application process and must be completed and submitted with your application.
- Photo Release Form: Permission to use your likeness in marketing materials
Note: All documents must be submitted through the application form below. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Judging Panel
Applications will be reviewed by an independent panel consisting of:
- Tutor Teach leadership team members
- Education professionals and academic advisors
- Community leaders committed to educational advancement
All decisions are final. The judging panel's evaluation will be based solely on the merit of submitted materials.
Award Details & Conditions
💰 Scholarship Amount
$500 CAD
One-time award payment
📧 Award Notification
Winners will be notified via email and phone by June 26, 2026
The selected recipient will have 72 hours to respond to the scholarship notification. If no response is received within this timeframe, Tutor Teach will proceed to contact the next eligible candidate.
💳 Payment Method
Scholarship funds will be disbursed via e-transfer or direct payment to your educational institution
Terms & Conditions
- Scholarship funds must be used for educational expenses including tuition, textbooks, course materials, technology, or other academic-related costs
- Winner must provide proof of enrollment before funds are disbursed (if not already submitted)
- The scholarship is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash beyond educational expenses
- Recipients agree to participate in promotional activities, which may include testimonials, interviews, or featuring in marketing materials
- Tutor Teach reserves the right to verify all information provided in the application
- The scholarship cannot be deferred to a future academic year and must be used within the year awarded

- Multiple Submissions: Only one application per person will be accepted. Duplicate submissions will be disqualified.
- Privacy & Data Protection: All personal information submitted will be kept confidential and used solely for scholarship evaluation purposes. By applying, you consent to Tutor Teach storing and processing your application materials in accordance with Canadian privacy laws.
